Where are you located?

We are located at 1A Queen Street, Auburn, NSW.

Our driveway access is accessed from facing Marion Street or Kerr Parade.

Who can I bring to my showing?

We see family, friends, architects, interior designers, and builders all attend meetings, so you can choose how many people you want to bring ensuring they are all there to collaborate to help you.

You will also have a Plans Reviewer there too who can assist you if you need help.

How big is your projection space?

Our showroom has no limit on size of plans projected. We can fit most plans in our 600 square meter facility. If a project is larger than that we move the plans around through our finger touch technology to ensure you can see it to real life scale.

What if I have multiple floors?

We operate by touchscreen, so easily managed, if you are showing more than one floor, we start with the ground level, then move to upstairs or to the basement. This only takes seconds to do.

What can I expect in my showing?

During your session you will have a Plans Design Consultant operating the projection of your plans and will be in your showing. Their role is to ensure your session is progressing smoothly, changing the plans if needed and moving furniture around. Our staff have construction and design experience.

You can expect your session to be filmed and photographed during your onsite customer visit. At times this footage may be used for social media and marketing platforms. However, this will only be with customer prior approval to be filmed and photographed.

How much is it?

Our business is based on projection time in our showroom. To provide an accurate quotation we will need details on the size in square meters and number of levels of your home or commercial layout to be able to provide you an agreed quotation.

In general, the larger the project, the more time you will need. We do not provide quotes over email, we need to either take your brief or see the plans to provide a quotation. Our minimum projection time is 45 mins, yet some sessions can run for a few hours, or even the full day.

What do people use our site for?

We have a vast range of uses, including private custom home plans from large premises to granny flats, owner builders, interior designers, off the plan property development and commercial plans such as office layouts, retail and franchise layouts, landscaping and pools, health practices such as medical centres. In summary anything that is a plan we are able to show it.

Additional services offered are Augmented Reality and Live Design which are charged at an additional cost and can be quoted at time of booking.

What are our goals?

We are here to provide a collaborative and networking space, with a technology solution to bring parties together to achieve the “Perfect plan”. “Bring your plan to life" is our Vision. Everyone’s perfect plan is different therefore this is about the parties discussing this together, aligning, and preparedness for a smooth construction process.

Are we good value for money?

Of course we are! Regardless of how big or small your space is getting it right before you start will provide you confidence and save you time and money.  Preparedness for construction especially if you haven’t been through one before is everything and for a small cost we see our value as saving you further costs ahead in the building process. How much do you place on peace of mind?

Get it right and get across those plans!

When is the best time to visit?

Ideally when you have your last drafted plans and before council submission or before the build has commenced. That will ensure you have had every opportunity to make final changes.

What are some of the benefits of having a plan projected?

As the market moves towards customisation every plan we see is different in size and layout.

For the home building or renovation market any homes even though designed aren’t actually built.  Some of the key benefits can include:

  • Understanding the flow of your project from room to room.
  • Understanding the actual size of your layout ensuring you get it right.
  • Not having to make changes once construction has commenced which is far more costly once commenced and time wasted.
  • Doors - The way doors open and close – is a cavity slider better use of space?
  • Garages - Knowing if your car will fit in your garages.
  • Stairs - You can ascertain if stairs are the right width and depth.
  • Kitchens – Is it laid out correctly and if not laid out correctly can see one walk around inefficiently too much, therefore breaking the triangle reach design rule.
  • Appliances - Ensuring your fridge and planned appliances will fit.
  • Media rooms – Will the TV you're planning to buy actually fit the room?
  • Our moveable walls will see how high your ceiling will be.
  • Hallways, whether a hallway is wide enough. The key benefit is you will see your plan on the floor without interior design distraction which will give you your real footprint.
  • Boundaries – Some clients are ascertaining on a tight space whether their project will fit within the boundaries or allocated space.
  • Pools and landscaping – Do they flow well off the back of the home and are they the right scale too.

For commercial plans, every square meter counts, therefore ensuring you have the best layout for your commercial operation can save your business on unnecessary cost and maximise its operational opportunity.

How should I spend my time?

It is important you spend your time where the most investment is, whether you are building a home, commercial space or renovating. There are though specific reasons why you are having a projection to give you confidence in your plan, therefore prior to your session have a think about where you need more clarity. For some clients it is the entire project, for others it is specific rooms or aspects of the plan they need to nut out. Our advice is to think about what is keeping you awake at night that doesn’t feel right.

Do you have furniture we can use?

Yes - we have an extensive range of various sized beds, sofas, faux appliances and movable walls that will be used during the session to ensure you can see how your furniture would fit.

How do I book in?

You can contact us via our website and once your enquiry has been received you will be contacted by the customer service team to talk through your plans and the walkthrough process and a quotation will be issued via email. Alternatively, you can contact the customer service team directly.

LSP Sydney - 1300 307 950

LSP Western Australia - 1300 308 099

Does the time include setup time?

Your plans are reviewed for projection 48 hours prior to your booking and this is all included in the fees. Your plans will be on display 15 mins prior to your booking time ready for your arrival.

What are our operating hours?

We operate Monday to Saturday with session times scheduled every 2 hours starting from 8am with last session commencing at 4pm with your final plans emailed to us 48 hours prior to your booking.

How does the technology work?

We have an extensive investment in multiple top class projectors that all talk to each other, and these are located suspended from the ceiling in our showroom facility. These all talk to each other and our software program takes the file, runs it through the software program and it tells the projectors how to project it to the right scale. (The rest of the technology - well that’s a well-guarded secret for LSP employees only).

What format does my plan need to be in for a showing?

A PDF file is ideal, ensuring the scale is marked on it as well as one floor measurement per floor. We can adjust our computer for the different scales. The most common one is 1:100, but others are fine.

What is ahead for Lifesize Plans?

Watch this space… we will be like no other business you have seen before in the next edition of us due late 2021 and you will think about design and see your plans ahead in a very digital and customer hands on way. (We are very excited and will share more soon)

Game-changer

"I had no idea that such a service existed and then BAM, the ad appeared at exactly the right time. We're building our new house and had been struggling with proportions and scale. We simply couldn't visualise what the plans were showing us. The Lifesize Plans experience was a game-changer for us, it was fantastic to walk through our house and confirm that everything was perfect. Amira was brilliant and a great source of knowledge. We feel so confident now. Thank you."

Worth every cent

"Worth every cent, without 'walking' your plans 1:1 you don't realise how much you need this service. Host was amazing, knows her stuff and it was those little touches that made the experience even better...they had a welcome mat at the front door, nice!!"

Visualise their plans

"We really enjoyed our walkthrough and it’s the best money spent to date! We considered relocating our Laundry, which leads to a larger and better functioning of our guest room and the ensuite. We also adjusted our upstairs so our girls have equal size bedrooms with larger robes. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff as their experience with the liveability and finer details of our plans proved to be invaluable. All potential home builders should do this so as to visualise their plans which will save thousands in variations later!"

Money well spent

"Totally recommend undertaking the Lifesize Plans experience before signing with the builder on your final house plans. It's amazing - you think it all looks fine on paper and that is what you want your new home to be. Well - you walk through the lifesize floor plan with some furniture strategically placed (and it is lifesize) and you think that the cavity for fridge is too small and that the doors could be wider and windows higher. These are changes that are made after signing will cost - which we all know we don't want. Thank you Lifesize Plans for helping us make a couple of important decisions on the final design. Money well spent."

We are so confident with our decisions and clear in our vision now that we have experienced our home through Lifesize Plans. Definitely recommend!"

Perfect plan

"The LifeSize walkthrough was a game changer to getting the perfect plan for us. The experience was unforgettable and Amira was so knowledgeable and assisting us with options to improve the plan. We are so glad we did the walk through to give us an idea of size of rooms. Thank you for a great experience, highly recommended!!"

Lifesize Plans was a revelation

"Well LifeSize Plans was a revelation. From the beginning of planning to the actual walkthrough it was a wow experience. Nothing quite beats that moment of walking into the warehouse to see your plans projected! They’ve thought through every detail, and though we thought we loved our plans, the walkthrough made us see we had work to do! I now honestly think LifeSize Plans is a non-optional step in a build! Thanks Amira and LifeSize Plans for everything."
